1. Who we are

Morey Digital Limited, trading as Morey Digital, is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. We provide website design, redesign and related digital services.

2. What we collect

When you ask for a quote, a website review or information about our services, we collect the details you provide: your name, contact details, business name, website address, services of interest, project timing and message. A lead form may also ask about your project budget.

We also keep the correspondence and project notes needed to respond to you. If you submit a Facebook or Instagram instant form, Meta supplies us with the information you choose to submit, including any contact fields you review before sending.

Providing an enquiry is voluntary. We need a way to contact you and enough information to understand your request. Required fields are marked on each form; without them, we may not be able to respond or prepare a quote. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or passwords.

3. Why we use your information

• Quotes and projects: to understand your request, prepare a quote and deliver agreed services. We rely on steps you request before a contract, or performance of the contract, where you are personally the customer.
• Business correspondence: where you contact us for a company, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and managing prospective and existing customer relationships. Follow-up relates to your request.
• Required records and disputes: where applicable, to meet legal record-keeping duties or handle legal claims. We rely on the relevant legal obligation or our legitimate interest in establishing, exercising or defending those claims.

Asking for a quote does not sign you up for newsletters or unrelated promotional messages. Any separate marketing choice is presented separately. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful use.

4. Providers and international transfers

We use Formspree to receive website forms, HubSpot to manage enquiries and customer relationships, and email services for correspondence. Meta hosts Facebook and Instagram instant forms. Information submitted through our Meta lead forms is available to us in Meta Business Suite. We use HubSpot to organise enquiries and follow-up; this may involve entering or transferring the details you provide.

GitHub Pages hosts our website. Google services are described below. Providers process the information involved in supplying their services. Meta also uses information for its own platform purposes under its privacy notice. If you choose WhatsApp, that platform's terms also apply.

Some providers process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Formspree states that it hosts its services in the United States and relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a processor. HubSpot's published data processing agreement describes its international-transfer arrangements, including Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

5. How long we keep it

Unsuccessful enquiries: we keep the enquiry and related correspondence for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete or anonymise them. Specific records may be kept longer for a documented need, such as an unresolved dispute or legal obligation, and only while that need continues.

Customer and project records: we retain information needed to deliver services and agreed support. Legal, accounting and claims records are kept for the period required by that purpose. Meta's own platform retention is governed by Meta's terms.

6. Website technology and cookies

With your consent, Google Analytics helps us understand visits and website use, and Google Ads helps measure and personalise advertising. These tools may process browser and device information, online identifiers, pages visited and interactions. Analytics and advertising have separate choices, initially switched off. Their measurement tags load only after you allow the relevant purpose.

You can accept all, reject optional tracking, or save your own choices. Use Cookie preferences to change or withdraw consent. Your choice is stored on this device for 180 days. Withdrawal stops further optional tracking; it does not automatically delete information already sent to a provider. You can contact us about that information.

Storage used for these choices

• Cookie preferences: our first-party browser-storage record, morey-digital-cookie-choice-v1, remembers your analytics and advertising choices for 180 days. It is not used to track your browsing.
• Google Analytics: cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> distinguish visitors and sessions. Google documents a default expiry of two years; browser limits and property settings can change the actual lifetime.
• Google advertising: cookies beginning _gcl_ or _gac_ support ad-click attribution and campaign measurement. Google documents a 90-day lifetime for these cookies. Advertising may also use the browser-storage key _gcl_ls for ad-click information.

Rejecting or withdrawing a purpose removes the corresponding Google measurement cookies accessible on our domain; rejecting advertising also removes _gcl_ls from this site’s browser storage. Cookies on Google’s own domains remain subject to Google’s controls and your browser settings. See Google’s Analytics cookie information and Google’s cookie notice.

Hosting involves technical connection information to deliver the site, supported by our legitimate interest in operating it. Some pages use fonts supplied by Google to display the website. This involves a browser request to Google, separate from analytics and advertising choices. We use this website-delivery information for our legitimate interest in providing a consistent, readable service.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in data protection law, you can ask us to access or correct your information, delete it, restrict its use, or provide a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it.

Contact conor@moreydigital.ie to make a request. We may need enough information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. We will normally respond within one month; if a permitted extension is needed, we will explain why.

You can complain to Ireland's Data Protection Commission, or another competent supervisory authority. You do not have to contact us first.

8. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our use of personal information changes and show the revised date here. If we plan a materially different use, we will provide the relevant information before that use begins.
